Thanks to NYFW we’re already inspired to try center parted, boldly colored hairstyles, now we're highlighting a few more 2013 hair trends worth crushing on. Get into deep parted, tied up, slick, low slung hair this year.
Deep parts: Parts are going full tilt for 2013! Sexy deep side parts stole the show on the runways of Calvin Klein, Donna Karan and Marc Jacobs to name a few. The look was worn best teamed with texture either worn loose or side swept into buns.
Head scarves: More than just a bad hair day solution, designers punctuated their spring showings with hair wrapped up in pretty printed head scarves. We love the punch that a scarves and bandanas add to a ‘do. Try one tied turban or headband style.
The Wet Look: Hair with slick “wet look” styling practically dominated the runways. The most popular take on the trend featured sleek roots with that teased volume at the ends. Slicked back puffy ponies and all over wet looks were also on the radar.
Sweet ‘n Low: Hairstyles fastened at the nape of the neck are the new sweet spot! Hence the reason why ponytails, knots and buns are reaching new lows this year. See the fresh twist on the look featured at Michael Kors. His models rocked strands gathered at the nape with simple elastics for styling that was nothing short of sophisticated.
