The clothes weren't the only style standouts on the NYFW runways.
Chic manicure looks forecasted the next great nail trends, and Morgan Taylor was on hand--literally--to create your new favorite looks for fall.
Here's the full rundown of how to achieve these Morgan Taylor runway standouts:
Monique Lhuillier, Nails by Gina Edwards
Monique Lhuillier's manicures were everything you'd expect — beautiful and the epitome of feminine elegance. Nail artist Gina Edwards cited inspiration from the stunning lucite heels that walked the show's runway and Lhuillier's inspiration of dawn pastels. The look was achieved by turning to a mix of two Morgan Taylor shades, Color Me Bold, a coral creme, with a light mauve Coming Up Roses. Nails moved from saturated color at the bases to clear, high-gloss tips for the ultimate color burst.
Sally LaPointe, Nails by Danielle Candido
Matte, no-fuss nails with a touch of youthful spunk stood out at the Sally LaPointe show. To channel the designer's "less-is-more" approach to the show's looks, Danielle Candido turned to a mix of Morgan Taylor Something to Blog About, an iridescent purple, and a touch of gray shimmer with Scene Queen. The look was polished off with a top coat of Mattes a Wrap.
CG Chris Gelinas, Nails by Gina Edwards
Bold graphics. Crisp lines. Color contrast. Nails at up-and-coming designer's Chris Gelina's show reflected his style with flawless looks in matte pastels and neutrals. Morgan Taylor's I'm Charmed added a coat of soft pink and a top coat of Mattes a Wrap on the upper third of nails looked flawless. A perfect horizontal line divided the nail, transitioning to New School Nude for a high-gloss and chic beige.
Carmen Marc Valvo, Nails by Gina Edwards
Gina Edwards worked her magic again at the Carmen Marc Valvo show, where the designer's 25th anniversary provided silver sophistication inspiration. Always chic black, Morgan Taylor's Little Black Dress provided a solid foundation. The polish was subdued with Mattes a Wrap top coat. For silver flare, the cuticles were edged with Oh Snap, It's Silver, which beautifully matched the silver streaks swept through model's buns.
