Let’s get started!
Step by Step:
1. Start with Paul Mitchell Quick Slip.
Put a nickel- or quarter-sized amount (depending on how much hair you have) into the palm of your hand.
2. Add Super Skinny Relaxing Balm.
Before applying to your hair, add a dollop of Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm to the Quick Slip. Rub them both together in your hands, then distribute evenly throughout your hair for to reduce drying time, and give you light hold with a smooth finish.
3. Comb it out.
Gently comb out your strands with a wet brush or wide-tooth comb to minimize tangles and evenly distribute the product.
4. Section your strands.
Using two duckbill clips, section your hair into three pieces: top, middle, bottom. Leave the bottom section free to begin blow drying.
5. Choose your round brush.
Before starting to dry, select the correct size of round brush you want to use. Not sure which one’s right for you? Keep in mind: The bigger the brush, the softer the curl and bigger volume you’ll get. For smaller curls, use a smaller brush.
6. Blow it out.
Divide the bottom section into two or three pieces of hair. Taking one of the pieces, place the round brush under your hair near your scalp, and place the blow dryer on top. Gently brush out the strand while continuously blow drying to makes sure each strand is smooth and completely dry. When you reach the end of the strand, keep the dryer on them for one or two seconds to help polish the ends. Repeat on the strand until it’s completely dry, then move onto the next piece.
Repeat these steps on the rest of the bottom section, then move to the middle and top sections in the same way.
7. Finish smoothly with Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops.
Once your hair is complete dry, put a dime-sized amount of Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops into the palm of your hand. Starting with your ends, work the product through your strands, then sweep what’s left on your hands through the hair closest to your roots. Adding product in from the bottom to the top helps eliminate a greasy look, and makes sure your ends stay protected and smooth all day long.
That was easy, right? Now here comes the hard part...deciding where to go to show off your sultry, voluminous locks!
